A Family Gathering @ V-KOOL RoundTable 2007
SINGAPORE – May 3 – 5, 2007 - V-KOOL 6 th Bi-Annual RoundTable 2007 was held from 3 rd to 5 th May 2007, in Sentosa, a sunny offshore island of Singapore. The conference was well attended by over 60 delegates from all over the world. The theme for this year's conference was on V-KOOL + Blue Ocean – Making Competition Irrelevant . The objectives are to lead and gear the V-KOOL network to think out-of-the-box ‘market strategies' and venture into uncontested market space by doing things differently and innovatively to make competition irrelevant.
CustomerCare was the first thrust to be introduced, where it started off with an ice breaking game – “What Have Gone Wrong”, put together by our very own V-KOOL International team, setting the prelude to what the participants were going to experience for the first day. The key highlight for the day was the V-KOOL Academy, a platform for providing consistent and excellent service knowledge and skills for V-KOOL business executives globally. This initiative marks V-KOOL's increasing dedication to achieving a consistent and excellent service standard globally.
For the other 2 thrusts, they were introduced on the second day of the Conference, with the key highlight on PartnerCare, where OEMGlobus, was launched. As part of our EnviroCare Manifesto, CODY, our EnviroCare mascot was introduced to pave way for opportunities for co-branding, adoption in events and for public service announcements. And in conjunction with CODY, a global integrated marketing campaign was launched with the key objectives of encouraging behavioral change in stakeholders and increasing brand awareness of V-KOOL as an environmentally friendly product.
Unlike previous years, this RoundTable had a series of fun table games embedded into the two-day programmes and everyone had a chance to pick their favorite “Most Innovative Marketing Campaign”.
The 2-day Conference ended with a relaxing and fun night by the beach at KM8, a renowned beach pub in Sentosa, where every participant was treated to a sumptuous BBQ dinner.
