How V-KOOL Fights Climate Change
Window films are a critical part of mitigating the harmful effects of climate change. V-KOOL advance smart coating can make one-inch thick glass possess the same insulative capability of a wall 6 inches thick. The thin film can reject up to 94% of infra-red heat while allowing windows to remain clear with high visibility (up to 73% light transmission).
V-KOOL's advance smart coating reduces CO2 emissions by reducing the amount of power required to cool the house or car. The time needed to achieve comfort temperatures is reduced by 20% - 25%. This is a key reason why it has been voted as one of the Top 100 Inventions of the Millenium by Popular Science Magazine. Click here to learn more about the technology behind V-KOOL's advance coating.
Consider this: there are more than 500 million cars worldwide. V-KOOL advance coating can improve fuel efficiency by 3% which is equivalent to 132kg reduction of CO2 per car every year. If V-KOOL is applied on every car in the world, it can save close to 66 million tonnes of CO2!
