V-KOOL^® uses wavelength selective technology. The original was first developed during the Arab Oil Embargo to reduce solar heat gain through glass windows .  The technology was also used in military aerospace applications where radar scattering nano-materials were sputtered onto the external surfaces of stealth bombers to avert detection.
